“…Charity extinguishes sin like water extinguishes fire…”
Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him)

NISA’s mission cannot be accomplished without your financial support. NISA accepts donations, sadaqa and zakat, on a one-time, monthly or yearly basis. We depend on your contribution and you can make a difference in the lives of many families.  May Allah (SWT) bless and reward you generously for your support.

Your generous donation will help in the following ways:

  • Operational costs of the NISA home.
  • Provide services (see Service page).
  • General administrative costs.

NISA is a non-profit 501(c)3 charitable organization. Your tax-deductible donations can be made by check or money order payable to NISA.

VOLUNTEER

NISA greatly appreciates and values the tireless efforts of our volunteers, who participate in projects ranging from outreach, event planning, website maintenance, and client advocacy.

NISA welcomes volunteers of all backgrounds and ages who want to give back to the community. As a volunteer, you will be a valuable asset to NISA, and to many individuals and families impacted by domestic violence.

NISA has a variety of volunteer opportunities. Since the requirements vary according to each opportunity, our office will work with you to see the best fit between our needs and your skills set.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Volunteers who wish to work on the helpline and/or help callers with direct services are required to complete a 40-hour Domestic Violence training to get certified as a California domestic violence counselor.
